Over 30 animals, including dogs, ducks, and a cat, were rescued from a Middletown home this week

Middletown Police obtained a search warrant for a home on Hill Avenue.

Complaints of drug use and trafficking had been reported at the residence.

Additionally, a homeless encampment was discovered in the backyard.

authorities decided that the home needed to be condemned, they reached out to Middletown Animal Control,

who in turn contacted the Animal Friends Humane Society for assistance in rescuing the animals.

The humane society played a crucial role in saving 31 dogs, two ducks, and a cat.

The rescue efforts have brought hope to these animals, giving them a chance at a better life
